RoRo Ferry
A roll-on roll-off ship, or a RoRo vessel, is a type of ship with a platform (or tailgate) at the rear of the ship. With this tailgate it is possible to takea variety of cargo on board such as cars and trucks. Many ships of this type have the possibility to transport containers. This type is also known as con-ro ships.
Besides the above there are also ferries from the roll-on roll-off type. These are often referred to as roll-on roll-off ferries, or also called RoRo Ferry's. These ships carry no containers, but passengers. In addition, most RoRo Ferry's have also a frontgate, so that on the destination the cars and trucks can easily leave the ship.
